Saks Unveils Dreams by Designs for the Holiday Season

News & Trends: For those looking to make this holiday season the epitome of luxury, then Saks Dreams by Design has the gift for you.

Luxury Department store Saks Fifth Avenue is offering customers once in a lifetime opportunities to meet with four American style icons and bid for a chance to own a one of a kind Mercedes-Benz. Each gift comes with the opportunity to do some good, as 50% of the profits will go to benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

The Dreams by Design offering allows someone you love to get the opportunity to spend a day with a world-renowned designer and a two-night stay at New York's The Plaza, round-trip business class airfare, a day with the designer and a $10,000 contribution to a selected charity.

Each designer, Diane von Furstenberg, Trish McEvoy, Tory Burch, and Stuart Weitzman, has their own unique package to offer, as well as a $10,000 donation to the charity of the designer's choice:

Wrap it Up: Meet with Diane von Furstenberg at her studio.
A fashion staple since the 1970's, Diane Furstenberg offers a private tour of her studio, tea with Diane, a luxury gift bag, a $2,000 Diane von Furstenberg shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue and two tickets to her show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. In addition to the day with the designer, $10,000 will be donated to Dress for Success Worldwide.

Glam it Up: Indulge in custom skincare and makeup design with Trish McEvoy.
A day with celebrated make-up artist Trish McEvoy includes a custom skin care treatment, a makeup lesson with Trish, lunch, an afternoon at her studio and a $500 Trish McEvoy shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue as well as a donation to her charity of choice, Girl Scouts of the USA.

Style it Up: Meet with Tory Burch at her studio.
Relatively new to the style scene, Tory Burch has already made an impact on the fashion world with her signature gold medallions found on shoes, accessories and clothes. Spending the day with Tory includes a tour of her showroom, lunch, a tote filled with classic accessories, a $2,000 Tory Burch shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue and two tickets to the Tory Burch Fashion show during Fashion Week. Tory Burch?s charity of choice is Save the Children.

Step it Up: Design a pair of shoes with Stuart Weitzman.
Every woman's shoe fantasy begins with Stuart Weitzman and his wonderful footwear. A day with the shoe designer consists of a private tour of his studio, a personally designed pair of shoes including a drawing and a $2,000 Stuart Weitzman shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue. Charity: charity: water.

You can also bid on the only Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster to be made for sale in the United States. Combining Mercedes' history of luxury and performance the car features SLR Sienna Pearl metallic paint and composition tobacco leather interior. The selling price is $529,500 and exceeding funds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
