South Street Seaport

The South Street Seaport is a historic corridor of New York City located in the shadows of the Financial District on the south end of Manhattan. It's packed with a collection of specialty food stalls, unique shops to suit a range of tastes, and improved community space. It is also home to America's National Maritime Museum.

The museum is made up of several buildings that replicate working environments of the time when this was the city's original port, and there are also a handful of restored ships, schooners, and tugboats docked here.
