From March 3-11, the eyes of the fashion world will be on Paris, and rightly so. Being the home of haute couture fashion houses and the unequivocal role of being the international fashion capital, the city embraces the week with an elegant flair and style that only it can offer. When not enjoying the shows, Paris is also home to some great dining venues and local watering holes. To fully experience everything that Paris has to offer during PFW, we put together a list of the best places to eat and drink in The City of Lights.
Le Récamier - 4 Rue Récamier 75006
All those catwalks and press conferences will undoubtedly cause a desire for a classic French meal. Soufflés often hit the spot when it comes to fine dining, so try Le Récamier in the 6th. With an impressive take on the baked cake, this place certainly deserves a visit.
Lily Wang - 40 Avenue Duquesne 75007
This beautiful restaurant has become renowned in Paris for the best Chinese menu that combines culinary expertise with great service and a tangible high-class feel. With its ‘20s-inspired Shanghai dining room and leather banquettes, the famous Costes family has set the bar extremely high for Asian cuisine.
Le MiniPalais - 3 Avenue Winston Churchill 75008
We absolutely love the sense of occasion and style that radiates within this venue. Le Mini Palais is located in the Grand Palais, simply walking to your table is a delight in this architectural masterpiece. The only thing better is the amazing three-Michelin starred chef Eric Frechon, who has curated a wonderful selection of perfectly-made classics with some experimental global dishes.
L’Experimental Cocktail Club – 37 Rue Saint-Sauveur 75002
Tucked away in a back alley where you wouldn’t expect to find such a jewel, L’Experimental has carved its name into Parisian chic culture by offering impressive personalized cocktails that simply take your breath away. With its friendly bar staff and the usual crowd of impeccably-dressed locals, this place is guaranteed to impress even the harshest critic.
Le Carmen - 34 Rue Duperré
We love bringing you new and unique places to grab a drink, and here’s one of our favorites. Le Carmen is located in a stunning 19th century mansion which instantly seduces its guests into thinking they’ve gone back in time. Style and glamour is in abundance here, with perfectly dressed waiters and staff offering some amazing drinks and cocktails. Be sure to make a reservation before visiting.
