You need a place that will impress. The boss. The in-laws. That guy you met on a dating site. Whatever your reason for needing a unique place to stay in the Bay Area, you'll definitely be satisfied with The Art Residence in San Francsico.
Amongst the more extravagant listings on Airbnb, the Art Residence is available for "travelers, vacationers, families, photographers, designers, and even film production companies seeking a unique facility to stay or to work."
Located in Lafayette, just outside of San Francisco, The Art Residence is basically 3,500 square feet of art. There's only 2 bedrooms, the rest of the modern space is filled with Mid-Century Modern artworks, classics and one-of-a-kind pieces. So don't spill your red wine anywhere.
There's also a tropical garden, complete with a swimming pool and restored 1959 Airstream Trailer that has become a tearoom. Not to mention the vintage car collection and personal lounges that are also in the spacious backyard.
Private getaway sound too secluded? Opt for the catering service offered at The Art Residence, which can accommodate any dietary needs from your gluten-free cousin to the bacon-loving guy on the crew.
Need to get around town? The Art Residence gives guests free shuttle service to and from the BART (Bay Area Subway), and will pick you up in style in your choice of vehicle from the exotic fleet: an Aston Martin Vanquish, a 1952 Jaguar C-Type, a Mercedes G500, or a Mercedes E350, at no extra cost.
You can even bring Fido along for the trip, as The Art Residence is so pet-friendly that there's a custom-built "dog mansion."
Of course, decadence like being surrounded precious works of art does come at price. The Art Residence is available a week at time, for $5,250 a week or $18,000 a month.
