Quince

Located in a "historically landmarked brick and timber building" in the Jackson Square area of San Francisco, Quince serves up Italian and French fare featuring local, seasonal ingredients. Proprietor and Chef Michael Tusk was recently recognized with the James Beard Award for Best Chef (Pacific); infusing his love of Italian cuisine with the flavors that overrun Northern California, Tusk offers up a menu that is as diverse as it is delicious.

To truly enjoy the experience, either the four-course or Chef's Tasting Menu is recommended. They change practically every night, depending on the season and mood, but they rarely, if ever, disappoint.
