Epic Roasthouse

While the name is gaudy and as cliché as it gets, Epic Roasthouse does manage to live up to their choice of adjective. A traditional steak house and then some, Chef Jan Birnbaum mans the wood-fired grill and wood-burning oven in the exhibition kitchen to the delight of diners.

The roasthouse has an incredible view too, as it is located on San Francisco's historic Embarcadero. On the inside, the space is decked out with vintage items from the city's industrial age in addition to wood-trimmed leather booths.
