Exploratorium

The Exploratorium is a museum of science, art, and human perception. This venue offers full interaction with most exhibits and hundreds that you explore for yourself with the goal of learning through experience. Exhibits here pander to a wide range of age-groups and lifestyles, as the popular "Science of..." series has featured subjects from cocktails to skateboarding.

The Exploratorium is located in the Marina, on the overwhelming and gorgeous grounds of the Palace of Fine Arts. This complex feels as if it is straight out of ancient Greece, but is really just the remains of the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition.
