Home Décor Trends: Italian Tiles

Home Decor: The latest Italian tiles are set to debut at New York's Jacob Javits Convention Center. Thirteen leading manufacturers of Italian tile are set to present the latest trends in home décor at the Ceramic Tiles of Italy Pavilion.

Here's a preview of some of the trends that will be featured at Ceramic Tiles of Italy for ICFF event:

Sustainable — 20 percent post-consumer glass, recycled from old screens and televisions is used in Refin's Pro-Gres and Tracce lines.

Designer — Marcel Wanders has designed Carmen and Iris for Bardelli, while Italian architect Diego Grandi has designed for Lea North America.


Floral-- Settecento's Visionnaire and FAP's Miss FAP lines are in bloom for spring.

Size — Impronta Ceramiche has both big and ultra thin tiles, while Appiani and Etruria Design are offering small sizes.

Color — Tagina, Imola, Rondine and Mapei offer a range of cool colors and hues.
