Chef's Counter- Exclusive Dining Experience in San Francisco

Cavallo Point, a luxury lodge at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, just introduced a new and intimate way to enjoy dinner. The well-regarded cooking school at this resort recently introduced the “Chef’s Counter” experience. This is a smaller option and aims to provide an extremely memorable event for guests. This three-hour dining event combines instruction with indulgence as guests get to watch the chef prepare their meal right in front of them. This is an interactive experience where guests have the opportunity to learn cooking secrets from the highly esteemed chef. You get the best of both worlds, with the atmosphere of a high-end restaurant and also the more personal experience of having the chef right in front of you. Head Chef Tony Adams is talented and passionate about cooking. He provides a unique experience to each and every one of his guests. He teaches professional techniques and offers remarkable insights. Classes are limited to six people to ensure individualized attention and care. The night will include a four-course meal that is paired with exceptional wines. There’s no better time to host a dinner party than the holidays. People’s spirits are high and the cold weather provides the perfect backdrop for a cozy indoor shindig. If you love throwing fête-a-têtes but don’t have much time to plan, cook and organize the event, allow James Beard-nominated chef Melissa Perello to take care of all the details this season.

Chef Perello will create a Michelin-star worthy menu for up to 20 guests and will be prepared in your San Francisco home. The multi-course dinner will be narrated by the chef as she introduces each dish and offers insight into the local producers and market-fresh ingredients used in each recipe. Of course, what’s a dinner party without wine? Guests will be treated to paired wines chosen by chef Perello and award-winning wine director Paul Einbund. Be sure to save room for dessert by pastry head chef Sarah Bonar, named San Francisco Magazine's Best Pastry Chef of 2015.
