Viking River Cruises Adding Two Ships in 2013

Apparently, business is good for luxury river-cruise specialty company Viking River Cruises, as the company announced the addition of two new ships to its fleet for 2013. The announcement of the firm’s placement of an order for two Viking Longships was made Friday, July 20, 2012, from its Los Angeles offices. Each will have 95 staterooms. Viking Cruises is now set to add eight ships in 2013, and have a total of 14 by 2014. "As the fastest-growing segment of travel, river cruising is inspiring more vacation plans than ever before," said Torstein Hagen, chairman of Viking River Cruises.
